Watch the LIVE stream of the Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 30 at 2:00 p.m. EST

We are proud to announce that the Lincoln High School Lion Pride Band was selected by Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren to represent California in the 2016 National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, D.C.

Over 200,000 people watch the parade live each year along Constitution Avenue in Washington, D.C. and it is also broadcast both on live TV and to our service members around the globe. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our students and community.

The Lion Pride Band is the only band from California who will be performing in the 2016 National Memorial Day Parade. This trip will provide over 60% of our students their first opportunity to visit our nation's capital, an experience that will certainly help make U.S. History come alive for them.

The National Memorial Day Parade educational trip to Washington, D.C. will cost $145,000.  That's $1500 per student.

Our goal is to ensure our students have an equal opportunity to proudly represent Lincoln High School and California in this National Parade, which honors all of America's military and fallen heroes from the American Revolution through Afghanistan and Iraq.
